Is this real market data?
No — and it says so on every surface. Prices are generated by a deterministic simulation so the app is fully explorable offline. At promotion it connects to a live server-side quote proxy.
Why label everything “Simulated”?
Honesty. You should never mistake a demo for a live quote or act on it. The badge is permanent by design.
How are the indicators calculated?
Standard formulas — simple moving averages over the window, RSI over 14 periods — computed on the simulated series, with guards so they never show broken values.
