Synapse Pro · Guide

Master it in your browser.

Synapse runs a real mastering chain — EQ, exciter, compression, imaging and a true-peak limiter — entirely on your machine. Here’s the workflow.

1

Load audio, or use the demo

Drag an audio file onto the studio (or press the file button). No file handy? Hit Demo for a built-in signal. Your audio is decoded and played locally — nothing is ever uploaded.

2

Shape the sound

Sweep the five-band EQ, dial the compressor and limiter, and try a preset like Warm Analog or Radio Ready. Watch the live spectrum and EQ curve respond in real time.

3

A/B, then render

Toggle Bypass to compare your master against the original. When it sings, render — an offline pass bounces a clean WAV. WAV export is a PRO feature; AURA ONE unlocks it and every other app.

Questions

Does my audio leave my computer?

Never. Decoding, processing and rendering all happen in your browser with the Web Audio API. There is no upload and no server.

What’s actually in the chain?

A multi-band EQ, a harmonic exciter, a dynamics compressor, stereo imaging and a true-peak limiter — the same order a mastering engineer would use.

Why use Bypass?

Mastering decisions are easy to overdo. A/B against the untouched original keeps you honest about whether a change truly helps.

What formats can I load?

Anything your browser can decode — typically WAV, MP3, M4A, FLAC and OGG. Large files take a moment to decode.

What does PRO add here?

WAV rendering/export. You can shape and audition a full master for free; exporting the finished file is part of AURA ONE.
